How much time a day do you spend/waste worrying about your bladder and continence? Today I noticed how much I was aware of my bladder, and concerned about when to void to avoid accidents and leaks. Almost to a distracting level. It's enough to make part of me want to give in and just wear diapers all the time, though I still avoid that due to the cost and the principal of not giving up on my continence before I have to.

Staying in a real diaper today, drinking cranberry juice.

Bladder has been extra sensitive today, wanting to be emptied often, and leaking more than usual. My incontrol pull-up has managed the task while still using the toilet more than usual, but I'm worried about overnight. Think I have a little bit of an infection from spring irritants as I have a cold sore and a bit of a cough too.

I like her matter-of-fact way of talking about incontinence and diapers.

Haven't gotten the 'too young' excuse, but I'm overweight and the default of doctor's is always to blame my weight for everything. Even had one doctor tell me loosing weight would help with my ear aches as if too much gravity was the problem and not allergies lol

I've been down with a case of food poisoning that has kept me in bed, in pain, most of the time. Its starting to improve but I'm not back to normal yet. Incontinence is as spotty as ever, so I wear protection of some level all the time.

Getting some fresh air on your skin is essential!!

Thanks for sharing this experience. Sounds like the Doc was professional and cool about your choice of protection. I do keep a few bags of all-white diapers on hand for this very scenario when I am wearing printed ones.

I hear ya, I'm waiting to find the cause of some GI issues causing me a lot of pain. Waiting for answers while doing random, expensive tests is the worst!
