sjaeger172004
Hi all Well, my distributor in Australia (littlesdownunder/downundercare, I can only guess, some issue from Bambino and shipping to Australia, but I don't know) for Bambino has stopped supplying Bambino diapers (only plastic I have used). He is out of the Ultra stretch, Magnifico, and Bloomz in Large and won't be getting any more. I have narrowed it down to the following samples and am wondering how noticeable they are under clothes as well as capacity (As I need to be thoughtful as paid by the government due to medical incontinence), so I maximise dollar per nappy and prefer less environmental waste as well as fewer diaper changes as well as not having to buy additional boosters. I am only Urinary Incont (fully induced recently as I was only overflow incont due to l4l5s1 nerve damage and now have an open valve Foley leaking into the diaper as well as on high dosage of cranberry) by urologist as I was getting too my UTIs due to retention no UTI since this set up as well as had issues with closed valve and leg bag system urology specialists are closely monitoring me DO NOT DO THIS WITHOUT MEDICAL PERMISSION) Next year I will have to make final decision but have enough supply of bambinos and boosters til March I am 42-44inch ABU DinoRawrZ - XLarge PeekABU - Large TinyTails - Large LittlePawz - Large Crinklz CRINKLZ ASTRONAUT ADULT NAPPY Crinklz Astronaut Adult Nappy littlesdownunder.com.au Incontrol https://littlesdownunder.com.au/shop/incontrol-elitecare-nappy/ Tykable https://littlesdownunder.com.au/sho...ttribute_size=LARGE&attribute_quantity=SAMPLE https://littlesdownunder.com.au/sho...ttribute_size=LARGE&attribute_quantity=SAMPLE NRU https://littlesdownunder.com.au/sho...tribute_quantity=SAMPLE&attribute_colour=BLUE Rearz https://littlesdownunder.com.au/sho...ribute_size=X+LARGE&attribute_quantity=SAMPLE Edited November 25 by sjaeger172004
Slomo
Well you already know what works best for me is Crinklz. I have a 42" waist, and the larges fit me snugly with plenty of room to spare. They do swell when very wet, but also wick well without leaking. I stay well hydrated, and can easily go 8+ hours in between changes. Even 12 hours if I need to. Diapers like ABU and Tykables always leak on me well before they should though, so that would mean extra changes throught the day with an added cost. But that doesn't mean they won't work great for you. As for how noticable any diaper may get, remember this first. A thick diaper that has done its job is WAY less noticable than a thin one that has leaked. Yes all of the good diaper will bulge when wet, and yes it will be incredibly noticable to you. But no, they won't be that noticable to others around you. After all, most people are caught up with their own worries, and they don't go around specifically looking at everyone's crotches. And regardless of diaper type or brand, there are steps you can take to minimize how noticable they may be. Firstly, black pants or jeans are the best. The black will completely hide any potential wet spots, and the color also seems to minimize the noticability of bulges, padding, etc. Always wear pants one size larger than normal too. The added size will accommodate the added bulk of the diaper. Pants that are even a slight bit tight will accentuate the shape of a diapered butt. And to this, always wear relaxed or loose fit jeans. Or with dress pants or slacks, always wear the pleated type. They have folds built in around the waist which really breaks up the outline of a diaper. For noise and potential leaks, I highly recommend adding a diaper cover over any disposable diaper. Specifically the type of PUL pants. They are waterproof PolyUrethane Laminated over nylon or cotton. And while they will add another thin layer to an already thick diaper, they are great for helping you to detect any leaks before they become outwardly noticable. And the nylon/cloth will muffle any crinkling noise of the diaper, while also helping to contain any potential smells too. They really do add more to stealth than anything else. So definitely give them consideration too.
