emily1890
so, a funeral of a close friend is coming up. I am unable to attend (completely different parts of the country) I am wondering this how normal/ acceptable is it to write a eulogy, and then ask someone who will be there on the day to read it on my behalf? to be honest, in my head it sounds stupid- but I bet it happens all the time. people can't attend funerals for what ever reason and others read on their behalf thoughts? Valentinesstuff
If it's appropriate for you to write and read a eulogy, then it's certainly appropriate for you to write and have someone else read it for you.
