sjaeger172004
1st I would like to express I am not a fetisher (I don't know enough about relationships and sex for one) as well as I don't understand the turn on (I have tried to see it but yeah the fetishes doesn't do it for me) as well as I have autism so my wording may be off-putting but I am 100% truly incontinent since spinal issue in 2009 and only found out the fetishes around nappies/diapers when I had to look for information and support to help myself mentally and information about products as I had no professional provide me with any info in Australia 😢 About a week ago my Urology  I have since been permanently Catheterised with a leg bag until recently when I was having too many issues with the bag slipping (to the point it was happening in public, and people commented that I was wearing shorts because it was heating up in Australia). So, my support worker and I spoke to my urologist (the head of urology and a professor). He agreed since I had issues with leg bags as well as my bladder not handling pressure if I have a closed valve (issues with pain when in hospital), they decided to have me have an open valve leak directly into a pad (taped product) as no medical issues (and I asked them several times if issues with UTI they said no) with it as well as I see them every month (urologist nurse at the hospital) for monthly foley changes as no funding for a community nurse. I do not have coordination (autistic, ADHD and essential tremors in my hands and bending issues). Wear would be the best place to position the foley in the pad for a male to get full use. Should it be in the middle of the middle so the middle gets it rather than just the front? Also, I will finally work with a nurse practitioner to work on my disability needs incl fluid intake (as I have been dehydrating myself since 2009 due to spinal issue course continence issues, but since the foley disabled the bladder, I can drink water as before it was playing hectic on my bladder but now starting to drink mostly water as well as continence care timed changes, looking at current products if still fulfills my needs (well night time I now have to wear a booster in a bambino until I find something more practical (as government pays for all my disability and continence needs) unfortunately there are only 2 suppliers in Australia that does plastic backed diapers.  Which are ABDL focus companies https://au.abuniverse.com/ https://littlesdownunder.com.au/  I currently wear these https://littlesdownunder.com.au/shop/bloomeez-adult-nappy/  I have had to change from bambino ultra stretch to bambino magnifico due to supply and discontinue issues as downundeecare/littlesdownunder (same company is the only distributor of bambino in Australia and well I have become fully urinary incontinent recently and just starting to learn.  I am after a plastic backed diaper larger capacity than the bloomeez for bed time and perhaps smaller capacity with indicator during the day as I wet a lot due to nocturna and severe sleep apnea (treated with cpap) and on seroquel and melatonin (for sleep) bipolar and Autism.  I don’t care if they have designs or white as no one will see them even if they ride up as I weather a crutch snapped onesie to keep everything in place as well as to help my lower spine in cold winds.  No this is not a fetish post  Many thanks
Slomo
Firstly, have you tried a "catheter bag leg sleeve holder"? They work the best for catheter leg bags. They can be slightly tight, but don't slip as much. They worked ok for me, but ultimately not ok enough. So I've been exactly where you are now. Leg bags were a pain, so I asked my Dr about letting my catheter drain into a diaper. He too said yes, but with two major caveats. First you can't be prone to getting UTIs, and if if you do get any signs you have to make a trip to the ER right away. And second, you absolutely must stay well hydrated. Like 3+ liters of fluids per day. That way the catheter is constantly being flushed out which decreases the chance for a UTI. I found pointing my penis up, then gently looping the catheter back down, worked the best. That will put it towards the middle-front area of th3 diaper. As for the type of diaper you're using. A plastic backed 5000ml ISO is about what you'll need. So what you have should be ok as long as it fits your body shape good. Those "no lower tapes" diapers never fit me right though. Either they are snug and leak around the legs way too soon, or they are tight enough to create a seal but are so tight they cut off circulation, are more prone to splitting open, and having tapes tear off from the backing. I personally found Betterdry or Crinklz are the current best out there for me. I know Australia has its own set of supply and cost problems though, so I encourage you to get 1 pack each of whatever different diapers you can. Test each one out for a few days, and see what works best for the price you pay. Then see about making an insurance request for the top two or three you like best. Also consider getting a PUL diaper cover for wearing over your disposable diaper. They really help you to detect a leak before it becomes outwardly noticable, and they reduce the crinkling noise of the diaper. And as a couple last tips from this diaper-guru. Get used to discretely pinching the back seat of your diaper. This tests for how wet it is back there, which can really sneak up on you when using a catheter. And also carry a small squeeze tube of chapstick with you. The diaper will dry out the catheter at the tip of your penis. Which that makes the normal size changes we get to stick and sometimes become painful. A quick trip to the bathroom and you can apply some chapstick to the catheter there. That will stop it from drying out for at least a few hours.

Hi I had leg sleeves unfortunately, only a low selection I can get in Australia and I trialled those 😢 1st Dr outside of the hospital when the botox completely closed my bladder and needed IDC said I could have it drain (it was late March early April) but didn't become full time cathed until July, and I trialed all different solutions until I rang up urology the other week and asked and I did ask several time if any medical reasons I couldn't and several times asked about UTI, their response was any issues straight to ED or their hospital dept during office hours if I could get to their office. I wear plastic pants over mine incase of leaks (thankfully I had a few slight dampness even with boosters) Would a Tena wet wipe do the trick while out?  Thanks
Slomo
Trick for what? They help keep your skin cleaner, but won't really do much to stop an infection. If that's your worry then I recommend adding cranberry juice, or taking cranberry pills. Now those help maintaining a health urinary tract.
