Slomo
It's been a few years since I've flown for travel, but just today I flew to Niagara Falls NewYork for the upcoming solar eclipse. I had changed my diaper before heading to the airport, but being functionally incontinent I was a little wet going through security. And sure enough, as I went through the millimeter wave detector it flagged my crotch red. I was pulled into a private screen room and was matter-of-fact forward about my incontinence and that I was wearing a diaper. The agent was pretty chill out it, but said I'd have to show him. I did, and he said sorry-thank you, before I was on my way. Total time was only a few extra minutes. The funny thing is my go-to diaper is Crinklz (with the babyfur prints). They had a recent shortage though, and LL Medical had only just got Betterdry (plain white) back in, so I was wearing one of them. It would have been interesting to say the least if I was wearing my usual though. So does anyone else have any TSA or traveling-while-diapered stories? It's been a while, but I tend to not pass TSA's security without at least a pat down at this point. I wear cloth, not disposable, and they tend to be a little damp from sweat by the time I hit security. If I was to do it now, it would be a little more than that.... You mentioned "red". When I've seen the screen it has been a yellow box over the area. Maybe that's the difference between a pat down allowed, vs going further. My worst was years ago, leaving a warm vacation area, where I had an afternoon flight home. I had used sunscreen during the day.... Combine that with damp extra cloth layers, I had the private room visit. Eventually they cleared everything. I'm not sure what it took to clear their chemical analysis of the sunscreen.... Since that was more of a liquid, I had my spare sun screen in a sealed plastic bag in my checked in luggage and not in the hand carry. In addition to normally getting hit with the pat down, I also carry a bottle of baby power in my hand carry luggage. I now always pull that out so it is separate at the x-ray so they don't have to dig through that to find the bottle, to perform the "required" additional chemical checks on it. Brand new bottles (such as at the start of a trip) are basically guaranteed to get pulled for further inspection.
Slomo
Had a flight the other day. TSA got exremely handsy afer stepping through the nudo-scope. Interestingly it only flagged my diaper area in yellow, which i did let them know i was diapered. And in spite of me having a booster and being slightly wet. Actually, They were more concerned with my artificial knee setting off the metal detector wand. Had a supervisor called over, and showed them my brace and scar (which is still red since I'm only 8 weeks past the surgery). Did NOT get pulled into a room though, so all was good. Slomo
I do believe I need to get a non-metallic belt for my pants. I've lost 60+ pounds in the past year, so as you may guess, my pants are all loose. And while going through TSA for a retun flight, of course I had to remove the belt. My pants managed to stay up for the scope, but without fail my mostly dry diaper got me flagged for a pat down. And as the agent was patting me down that's all it took. I felt the pants slipping and grabbed them real quick, but I'm sure anyone with a quick eye probably got an impromptu peek show. Thankfully nothing was said, and I got quickly waved through after that.

Hmm, maybe not a good idea. But if you're concerned about getting through with your diapers, just give them something else to focus in even more. Ps. Sorry to hear about you dad. Hope you're doing ok.
