  1. They were nothing special, if I recall they were cloth backed with adhesive tapes.
  2. When I kept casting about for a cheaper disposable, it became obvious that there were three classes of disposable adult diapers. Insurance/Medicare will only pay for the most useless diapers. I was at a store the other day where someone was sitting on the floor, he stank like the worst truck stop bathroom. He were next to their Walker/chair ( don’t know what they’re called). The manager had to help him up, and push him back out to his vehicle, after getting him the soda and frozen drink he came for. The manager commented that his diaper was clearly saturated. He got it on his pants and had to spray himself with axe body spray. The man clearly had out of control diabetes, he was also not cared for or adequately protected. The whole store stank. That’s what you get with cheap thin diapers.
  3. A pad on the recliner and a big one under the sheets. Since I switched to Ecoables I haven’t really had any leaks though.
  4. By youth I mean toddler all the way up to youth, if you check the website they are all the same shape.
  5. Ecoables cloth diapers and pocket diapers are sized up versions of their youth diapers. They fit and work great, they actually let your hips breathe and have a really high rise in the back. They are super comfortable and well made, I have switched over completely and no longer have to pull a hundred pound trash can up the driveway every week. Tuck in the inner leg gussets. The pockets can be stuffed with a prefold or the snap in inserts. I use the pocket as a cover over the fitted cloth diaper with an insert and they last all night without leaks. I am surprised more people don’t use them.
