Unconventional holistic treatments for incontinence.

What are some lesser-known natural remedies and lifestyle changes that have helped manage incontinence? Are there any specific herbs, exercises, or alternative therapies that have shown promising results in reducing symptoms?

Cranberry juice is probably the biggest one. Not for just helping to treat a Urinary Tract Infection, it helps promote a healthier and more stable urinary system. And if you don't like the taste, cranberry pills work just as good.

Water is the next big one. It sounds counter intuitive, but being very well hydrated will absolutely help with many types of urinary incontinence issues. Obviously it won't stop or reduce incontinence itself, but it does reduce some of the pain, spasms, and severity that can come with it. You should aim to have a slightly yellow, or nearly clear, urine color for it to make any difference. It also helps reduce bad smells throughout the day, and helps a diaper absorb your urine better too. All because the uric acid will be dilluted.

And we have probably all heard loosing weight will help too. In some cases, dropping 25+ pounds can literally cure urinary incontinence, including overnight bedwetting. Especially if it's diabetes related.

Most diets don't really work long term though, which is what makes this so tough to achieve. The new weight loss pills do work, but only as long as you keep taking them. And if you ever go off the pill, that weight will slowly come back. The only real solution I ever found is simply getting used to be hungry all the time. Much easier said than done though.
