I very much accept my incontinence, i have tried what i can and im not getting any more control then i have, being ashamed of it is silly to me .. as silly as being ashamed of the glasses i wear or the cane i use, my diapers let me have a normal life. 

having an understanding partner is the key for me, we talked about it and just except that i will wet some .. we got good bed pads and after i put a diaper on and cuddle  

i dont like landing zones either .. just my opinion but the rest of the plastic seems thinner 

i have never woken up to pee even when i had some bladder control , ive never been dry at night 

i think acceptance about it is on the rise, we have a long way to go but its being talked about in a good article like this

and really thats the point, not leaking. i dont really think they are that noticeable either  unless you are wearing clothing that is skin tight 

Glad your knee surgery went as expected 🙂 i had one nurse last time i was in hospital that really wanted to have the doctor order a catheter so i wouldn't be in diapers. when she mentioned it to me i flatly refused. she didnt bring it up again but also she was my least favorite nurse 

bit over a year ago i had an infection that landed me in hospital for a week, because of where the infection was i used the hospital diapers, they needed to get to that area, my go to diaper is also crinklz but i also wear better dry, they are the same diaper, i wear the betterdrys when i go to the doctors, i had 2 diapers with me when i was admitted, one my nurse changed me into the first night, after that was the hospital diapers. the nurse said that mine were way better 

for me i i dont care about how thick they are as long as they work well .. right now thats thick diapers that swell a lot 

i wear a lot of shorts and tank tops in the summer .. also very important to stay hydrated its might meen an extra change or two but for i have less rashes .. i wear a strechy pant over my diaper thats breathable .. Duluth trading co's buck naked  boxer briefs are fantastic 

O  i always called them Diapers and  you are right about  it  being clear  on  your needs  .. but  after  she  told me thats  what  they have  to  call them  i didnt  correct  them..  the  same  nurse  looked at  one of  my  better drys i had in  my  bag and commented on  how  much  better  they are  then what  the  hospital uses  

I asked a nurse last time i was in the hospital and its there policy to call them briefs, the last thing i want is to make my nurses day harder when its out of there control.

i open a bag at a time and the rest are in the closet .. the ones i have in open are on a shelf in my room 

i do too .. they are lots easier to change in .. i do use a cane so i dont as many glares 

i need my diaper to last 6-8 hours .. more than that dosent feel good on my skin ..  the ultra-absorbent diapers to just seem like overkill, but everyone has their own needs and preferences  

i think that happens to everyone sometimes, you are not alone at all 

Lighthearted jokes is what i have heard  too. its not something most people find comfortable talking about 

i change 3-4 times a day .. i wear a diaper cover or boxer briefs .. if im going out i wear a onesie with a diaper cover 

Im always interested in trying new products. i do stick to what works but like others have said products change so it nice to find new stuff .. ann can always find room for improvement 

Last time i was in hospital the nurses told me its hospital policy to not call them diapers. i did while i was there and they didnt correct me. personally i dont care what they call as long as we all know what we are talking about them. and the name didnt come up much at all .. i was asked if i needed changed or told it was time to change 

Its annoying more than anything, rarely does a leak happen bad enough thats i need to change clothing . but it always means needing to change sometimes in not the best of places 

i dont really care if people can hear something.  i do wear a cover or boxer briefs over my diapers. but no one has ever said anything to me about hearing them 

Weekly trash pick up here with one big bin .. they dont care if the lid closes here and we have not had issues with with not fitting . but just glad im the only one in diapers in the house 

I absolutely believe they can be linked. the more stress the worse it can be. not in every case im sure but for the most part yes it is 

Incontinence  the normal in my life so for me i see this as focusing on the positives and not dwelling on the negatives.

Positives is that i dont stress about having an accident and wetting my pants or bed cause im managing my incontinence well 

Negatives, the cost is annoying but not that bad really
