Slomo Posted October 4, 2025 Share Posted October 4, 2025 So kinda way off the usual topic here, but has anyone else accepted that diapers are a part of their life? Enough so you've incorporated them into other aspects of your life, interests, or hobbies? For me, I'm a gamer. It turns out this one is gaining popularity of all things. Diapers compliment gaming quite well. No more worrying about pausing at a critical point or "brb" in a party. And to my surprise, I've never gotten any real negative comments about them (other than leaks, which are easily solved with better products like not-depends). And may have converted a number of non-incontinents for those more serious sessions. I'm also a furry. Yeah, yeah, go ahead and show us how misinformed some of you are, and how much misunderstood furries are- or better yet please don't jump to more misjudgements. Anyways, I've incorporated wearing a diaper as an incontinent adult fur. Adding the diaper to my art commissions and even added a "diaper" to my fursuit. It turns out that diaper shaming exists among other furries, and there's even a sub sect of babyfurs, that are even more widely misunderstood. But that's all my point for embracing this aspect of who and what I am. If nobody ever brings it to light and stands up to correct those misjudgements, incontinence and diapers will continue to be shamed. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Pino Posted December 20, 2025 Share Posted December 20, 2025 (edited) I can not go outside without them, i am not sure about "incorporating" them, as i have no real choice as to wear them, beside catheters perhaps. So, somehow i incorporated them into everything i do. I try to get around them during my sports, as this would be problematic, at least as long as i can be sure not to loose control over the time of the next 45 minutes, which works usually. I do onyl wear mininmal protection during my sports. Diaper shaming is real for sure, i do not talk openly about my need, but even in medical setting this can be problematic. Arby Posted February 9 Share Posted February 9 I've just had to start incorporating them really, still being diagnosed, so no idea what the future looks like with it. Also furries are cool, I should know, I am one! I haven't gotten used to wearing in social spaces yet outside of family gatherings, but my friends I've told have been very supportive. I did see a picture of a fur at a con wearing a diaper over their fursuit in support of those in the community who wear them, which was really cool. I'm not sure how I'd manage a fur meet or con myself yet, but I got plenty of time to get used to things and figure it out. Diaper shaming does exist and it has impacted me in the past, thankfully at this point I've been through enough in life to not really care. If someone has a problem with my medical need, then I don't really want to be friends with someone that immature anyway. We do need to shut it down though, I don't think that medical need is the only reason to wear diapers, there are a lot of reasons, sometimes simply down to just preference. I suppose the best way is to pay attention to what others say/think and correct them. It's good to have artwork that reflects you. Even so, I know who I am & what's for me well. I don't mind the idea that my fursona might need diapers as a reflection of myself, but tbh I've got some different ideas based on his lore already, if I did want to incorporate anything into the design.
