You wouldn't really be adding the lube inside the penis. While you are small, add it to the catheter, near or at the tip of your penis. Then when you get a normal size increase, the catheter will be lubricated at that part which would now be inside your urethra. It won't even be lubricated more than an inch inside you, but I found even that little bit made all the difference to prevent the catheter from causing any irritation at the internal part of your urethra. Alternatively, you can sort of push down on the tip of your penis to expose just a little more of the catheter (just don'tpush so much it will hurt). Apply the lube right there on the now exposed part of the catheter, then let go of your penis again. And sorry, I didn't mean the catheter was getting completely dried out. Only dry enough at the tip, where it would start rubbing just enough to cause that irritation and redness.
