About Me

I am a student working on my degree in the sciences. In the mean time I work as a financial analyst. I have been dealing with incontinence since childhood but it seems to be getting worse with time. The doctors believe it is due to an unknown degenerative neurological issue. My urological incontinence was thought to be due to uninhibited detrusor contractions but tests show normal results, so the diagnosis is still up in the air. I also have rare bowl accidents caused by IBS.

I am glad sites like this exist. Knowing other people are dealing with the same problems and overcoming the challenges of incontinence is reassuring. At times I feel like I was singled out to have the most embarrassing medical issues. But I found many people dealing with very similar problems. I have learned a lot about managing my incontinence and I hope I can help and support others half as much as everyone else has helped me here. :)

I am a physics nut. Not necessarily the Newtonian sciences, but more about fields, and the Higgs boson, etc. But sadly there is only a tiny job market for Physicists who actually do what I want to do. So I am studying for my EE degree before I pursue physics. I like going out and trying new things... exploring new cultures, traveling, studying religions. But I also do normal stuff like hang out with friends, dating, seeing moves, etc.

    Hi Link
Thanks for your response. I don't think you are posting too much. In fact, I think that one of the biggest problems we have is that people are so hesitant to talk about incontinence. It prevents us from finding the best possible solutions, and makes people feel all the more lonely. I agree. There are a lot of good people here.
